Vanity Fair Enough

By Margot Tanjutco

Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2019
9 - 21 April 2019
Malthouse Theatre
Vanity Fair Enough is an hour of original songs, sketch, and standup about consuming more than you deserve. Margot is a microinfluencer who wants to save the world – but she has to save herself first. It’s a Confessions of A Shopaholic meets 2012 vibe with her wacky feverdreams of capitalism and redemption. Will everything be okay or is it too late for a Happily Ever After(pay)?

Margot Tanjutco is a writer, actor, and comedian. She was the Associate Director for Benjamin Law’s play Torch The Place (Melbourne Theatre Company). She finished a successful season of her solo show Vanity Fair Enough at The Coopers Malthouse for Melbourne International Comedy Festival where she was also nominated for the Golden Gibbo. She has developed a web series with Cinespace StoryLab and a short play for MTC and EWF’s First Stage.
